Beautiful place so peaceful and perfect getaway.

The owners were very nice and helpful, they were able to do our laundry and responded promptly to anything we requested. Bed was comfortable and had a good time on the lake. Would recommend their properties. Only bad things were dishes weren't the cleanest and the water had a foul odor.

Had a great time with my partner over Labor Day weekend. Easy access right to the lake. Quite serene.

Quiet place and access to the water, a bit over priced for the condition it was in. Overgrown plants, litter everywhere, light out in fridge and over stove, paint chipping on deck and a bit run down. Hot tub was dirty, warm not hot and was inaccessible the first day. Need to pay for propane and no fire wood was there for guests but you could buy an expensive s’more package. Early check in was more money, late check out was more money, adding a guest was more money, the water is very stinky in the tap and shower. I was asked for a $100 deposit that wasn’t listed on Air B and B and they asked a lot of questions in their let’s get to know you questionnaire which I did not fill out and felt intrusive. Pricey for weekday stay. There are kayaks and boats available to use though but they aren’t on a rack or anything just out in the rain and sand. The guys staying next door had issues renting a boat from the same owners.

It honestly was so much fun with our family. We have 2 small kids and we stayed there for the weekend it was awesome! The kids loved it everything we needed was there and the owners are awesome with response times. I will be renting again from them soon😃

The cottage was absolutely amazing! Very clean, very well thought out. The hosts were incredible for providing information about the area and ensuring our stay was fun. I would absolutely recommend this cottage or any of the others that they maintain for anyone looking to vacation in the Grand Rapids area. We will absolutely be coming back!

Very comfortable space, furnace is a bit loud and the house could be updated a little, but the space is very cute and a good trip for a small group.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The hot tub was fantastic and incredibly relaxing. The living room was spacious, with tasteful decor, and the beds were very comfortable, making the house feel peaceful overall. However, it's worth noting that the hot tub is located near the house next door, and it was a bit noisy during our visit. While the house was generally clean, we did notice some boot prints in the entryway upon arrival. The host was very responsive, but the abundance of lengthy messages with information felt overwhelming and made the process more stressful than necessary. A simpler approach would have been appreciated, which is why we deducted one star.

This home would be good for a family or group to stay at over the summer if they don’t care about it being very nice. This is an old lake cabin that had a new but low end floor installed. No regular furnace, just a mini split on one side of the home. The bedroom was heated with a portable heater and wasn’t even running when we got there. Bathroom was small and under construction. Home was not filthy but not super clean either. Thinking whoever owns it should hire the cleaning out as it was lacking. Hot tub was not convenient to get to in the winter and didn’t have much privacy being shared between multiple homes. Beds, pillows and sheets were old but did appear to be washed.Only thing that was good with this place is the owner was quick to respond to issues.

My best friend and I stayed here for our new years getaway! We enjoyed spending time in the hot tub spa and hanging out in the cozy home, playing cards and listening to music while enjoying the amazing view of the lake. We absolutely loved this mini vacation and hope to come back in the near future. Being able to bring my dog along was a huge plus!!! This was a wonderful time. Thank you so much for having us!!

SCAM The home had no running water or gas; the host did come over to try and fix but could not find solution. No running water means no restroom access for the entire stay. Zero insulation in bedroom and no are blankets provided; absolutely unbearable. Advertised 4 bunk beds, only provided 1 bed and a 2nd mattress in the living room . Large beautiful hot tub can only reach 84*F , when asking host for assistance they replied hot tubs don’t work in winter. This was highly disappointing because before booking I asked about the spa; they promised it would be clean and functional. The spa was our main attraction and to not be able to use it was very disappointing. There’s only one ring camera on the property and it’s facing directly at the spa. The thing that made me most upset is host never apologized for the inconveniences and lack of utilities. I wish he had been sympathetic or even offered a discount to rectify. I was scammed and robbed of my time.

We came to stay for a little weekend honeymoon getaway and this place was absolutely perfect for what we were looking for! It's BEAUTIFUL and the hot tub is to die for. The hosts were awesome and even gave us access to a second hot tub and access to a pretty amazing game room! Overall five stars all the way around and we will most definitely be back!!

Initially had a hard time getting into the rental, host was available to assist right away (user error 100%🤦🏼‍♀️). Great recommendations from host, nice little area, easy to find, super cute and cozy place right on the water. 10-20 minutes from everything we wanted to do. The water from all taps is typical Michigan water and smelled funny, but the property is otherwise delightful and company was great to work with! Would definitely stay again.

It says you have to wait wait 30 days to get your deposit back, but he can give it back as soon as he knows that his house is checked out and everything’s clean

Was looking for a place to spend the evening and relax in a hot tub, this fit the bill perfectly. Frank met us upon checking in and made sure there wasn't anything that we needed. I would stay here again for a night away or longer to enjoy the lake.

There was lots of space for all 7 of us. The hot tub was huge and worked great. The boys enjoyed the pool table as well. The cottage was clean and our beds were comfortable.

Our second time renting from Frank. Cute little house for romantic getaways. Loved the decoration and the scavenger hunt. Only downside was mattress were little firm for our preference and hot water pressure was low. Would definitely visit again because the sunrise view was worth very penny.

Loved “The Spirit Airlines of AirBnBs I can't tell you how excited I was to have a girl's weekend in, "Pure Michigan". When I came across Frank's reasonably priced lakehouse that had everything 4 hot women looking for a weekend getaway could ask for; "sand, beach, hot tub, swimming pool, bags, boats, and serenity. I thought this was a, "steal" and immediately booked it. Well, if something seems too good to be true, it usually is. I'm going to be Frank, Frank. The entire experience was like traveling via Spirit airlines. The BnB was so cheap because Frank charged fees for everything. Want to use the pool? FEE! Want to use a pillow? FEE!(also, extremely tacky that he wrote "rent me" on everything)Need linen? FEE. Need to pee a lot? FEE! Everything had an additional fee. We even paid a showering fee because the water smelled like sewer water. How do you feel dirtier after cleaning yourself? Not to mention, communication was not this company's strong suit, (Yep, that's right, this property is being rented through a third party organization so you're dealing with an actual company). We messaged them several times and got no response from anyone. We were there 3 days and never got an answer as to where the pool was located which I guess is a good thing since it saved us an additional fee.”
